In Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Mr. Thaddeus Attah was declared the winner by INEC Returning Officer to represent the Federal Constituency Seat.[8][9][10] However, the result generated contests as the Party agents from APC and PDP rejected it over the claim that some people were disenfranchised from voting in Eti-Osa.[11] In the process, the police and the army were brought to maintain peace and order in the local government area.[12][13]
