Andres Rafael Teves Aldeguer (born December, 2003) is a Filipino professional footballer who plays as an striker for Philippines Football League club One Taguig, on loan from Central Connecticut Blue Devils.

Career

After graduating high school at De La Salle Zobel, Aldeguer began his senior career at Philippines Football League side Azkals Development Team. In the 2022–23 season, he was the leading scorer of the team, netting 6 goals.[1]

In July 2023, Aldeguer joined American college soccer side Central Connecticut Blue Devils.[1][2]

In 2024, Aldeguer returned to the Philippines and was loaned to newly created club One Taguig.[3]

International career

In February 2022, Aldeguer was named in Philippines U23 squad for the 2022 AFF U-23 Championship held in Cambodia.[4] He was the only player in the team that plays for a high school team.[5]

In April 2023, Aldeguer once again called up to the Philippines U23 team, competing in the 2023 SEA Games.[6]

Senior

In March 2024, Aldeguer received his first call up to the Philippines national team for the 2026 World Cup qualification games against Iraq.[7]

Personal life

Aldeguer is the son of the American former basketball player Dino Aldeguer, who also attended De La Salle Zobel School.[8]
