From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Since the mid-20th century, it has become common for architects to be known for their work as part of a group in an architecture firm or partnership, as well as the individual architectural practice. (Herzog & de Meuron vs. Le Corbusier). Both types of firms employ a number of professional and technical staff under the direction of a partner (or partners) or shareholder(s).

Refer to the List of architects for the names of individual architects.
