Background

For 10 years, Todd Clark was the lead singer and primary songwriter of Canadian, Alt/Pop band, Pilot Speed Pilot Speed (formerly known as Pilate). During that time the band self-produced 1 EP, 3 full-length albums and toured extensively, garnering International success in Japan, Australia, and the United States. In Canada, “Caught by the Window” (released under MapleMusic Recordings) achieved both critical and commercial success. “Into Your Hideout,” the first single from the record, quickly became a Top 5 hit on Rock radio and a mainstay on MuchMusic. In 2006 Pilate signed with Wind-up records, releasing two further full length albums: Into the West and Wooden Bones...

Todd Clark now primarily spends his time writing songs with/and for other artists including: Phillip Phillips, Johnny Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls), Tyler Shaw, Megan Bonnell, Alan Doyle (Great Big Sea), Jessica Mitchell, James Durbin.

In addition, Todd Clark’s songs have regularly been placed in film (Foolproof, Tell Me You Love Me, Death Sentence, and Going the Distance), television (One Tree Hill, Party of Five, Whistler, Kyle XY, and Degrassi), and within commercials for the WWE and GoodLife Fitness.
