Comment on article topic

[edit]

I cna't believe that noone has made this article before, as forensic science is usually a hot topic. Bobby1011 15:16, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was a bit surprised also. -- backburner001 15:28, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

These two articles are about the same topic. Determining origin and cause of fires are essential to fire investigation and, as such, the subjects should be covered in the fire investigation article. Any thoughts? -- backburner001 17:18, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I dissagree. Cause and origin can relate to a myriad of non-fire incidents for which you may want to trace cause and origin. One example is a flood situation. You will often need a cause and origin proffesional to determine the cause and origin of the leak (frozen pipe, water heater, ect.)--69.142.229.152 19:31, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It certainly doesn't appear to have another meaning. Radagast83 02:01, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  1. I removed the WP:LE tag because although cause and origin investgations can be criminal, they are not always. This article seems to fit much better in the Fire service wikiproject — Preceding unsigned comment added by EMT1871 (talkcontribs) 01:02, 20 January 2007
