Kaleburcu is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is situated in Çukurova plains at 36°56′N 34°50′E / 36.933°N 34.833°E / 36.933; 34.833 to the south of Çukurova Motorway and to the north of Turkish state highway D.400. It is almost merged to Tarsus. Distance to Mersin is 30 kilometres (19 mi).The population of Kaleburcu is 1005[1] as of 2011.
