Johan Renck

Bo Johan Renck (born 5 December 1966) is a Swedish director of music videos, TV and film. He is an occasional recording artist using the moniker Stakka Bo,

He has directed music videos for a number of artists including Kylie Minogue's "Love at First Sight", All Saints' "Black Coffee", Madonna's "Hung Up" and "Nothing Really Matters", Robbie Williams's "Tripping" and "She's Madonna", The Libertines' "What Became of the Likely Lads", Suede's "She's in Fashion", New Order's "Crystal" and "Krafty", Beyoncé Knowles' "Me, Myself and I", The Knife's "Pass This On", Fever Ray's "Seven" and Bat for Lashes' "Daniel".^[1]

Renck directed two episodes of AMC television drama Breaking Bad^[2] and one episode of The Walking Dead^[3]. Renck's first feature film, Downloading Nancy, 2008 premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on 21 January 2008 in Park City, Utah.^[4]

Stakka Bo scored a hit single in 1993/1994 with the song "Here We Go". The song was featured on an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head with Beavis stating he thinks "Ace of Base sucks." "Here We Go", was also featured in the movie, Never Been Kissed; in the video game UEFA Euro 2004 and the film, Alien Autopsy.^[5]
