Christopher W.T. "Chris" Woo (born December 25, 1957 in Honolulu, Hawaii)[1] is an Hawaiian swimmer best known for reaching an Olympic final in the Men's 100 metre breaststroke in the Montreal Olympics won by his teammate John Hencken. He also won a gold medal as part of the US Men's 4 x 100 metre medley relay team. This team set an Olympic record in the event.
In 1976 he set the USA National High School Record in the 100 yard breaststroke at 55.99; which would stand as the record until broken by 1992 Olympic 100 breaststroke winner Nelson Diebel.[2]
Since his retirement, Woo became a dentist.[2]

Chris Woo was on the 4 x100 meters medley relay U.S. team that set a world record during the qualifying heats at the Olympics. In the finals he was replaced by John teammate Hencken who along with three other teammates that broke the world record in the finals to win the gold medal.
