Amanda is a 2018 French drama film directed by Mikhaël Hers.[2][3]

Plot

Living in Paris, 24-year-old David is close to his sister Sandrine – a single mother – and her seven-year-old daughter, Amanda. When Sandrine is killed in a terrorist attack, David begins to look after Amanda. While the grief and trauma of the sudden death leads to tensions, the two begin to bond and David decides to become his niece’s legal guardian.
