Emergency Communities

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world

In Emergency Communities we capture our experience getting into disaster zones—the footprints of hurricane, earthquakes, wars, etc.—and building community centers and soup kitchens within the wreckage, feeding people, and bringing together the victims of disaster and the volunteers who have come to help.

Several authors are from Emergency Communities, a non-profit organization specializing in first response to disasters and the rapid construction of emergency communities.
