[edit]From Middle Breton uguent, from Old Breton ucent, from Proto-Brythonic *ʉgėnt, from Proto-Celtic *wikantī (compare Welsh ugain), from Proto-Indo-European *h₁wih₁ḱm̥t (compare Latin vīgintī) from *dwi(h₁)dḱm̥ti (“two-ten”).
