- tā bija Zintra; mirkli šaubījies, piegāju viņai klāt: “labvakar”, es teicu; “labvakar”, viņa atņēma sveicienu un pasmaidīja ― it was Zintra; after hesitating for a moment, I went to her: “good evening,” I said; “good evening,” she received the greeting and smiled
- viņa ienāca gaišā vasaras kleitā un pateica vienkārši “labvakar” ― she came in a light summer dress and said simply “good evening”
