Usage notes
[edit]The difference between a cable-stayed bridge and a suspension bridge is that in a cable-stayed bridge, the cables supporting the deck are straight and attached directly to the pillar(s), while in a suspension bridge they are attached to a much thicker cable hanging from the pillars in a catenary shape.
