Cruceiro, realizado en granito, que se apoia sobre unha plataforma formada por unha pedra ruda, sen labrar, cunha serpe gravada na súa superficie. A cruz está formada por un fuste de sección cuadrangular, liso, que soporta unha cruz de sección tamén cuadrangular, muxe, cos brazos achaflanados. Existen teorías sobre a súa vinculación cun petroglifo reconvertido en cruceiro en tempos de cristianización. Arredor da serpe, no seu pedestal, pódense observar cazoletas. Conta a lenda que foi Santo Adrián, patrón desta parroquia, o que librou esta terra dunha praga de serpes, ao petar fortemente co pé no chan e facelas desaparecer todas, quedando encantadas baixo esta pedra. |
