- It was not a copyright violation. The image was in the public domain. I'm not sure how I was supposed to explain this when it was deleted immediately after this message was added to my talk page, however. Shannernanner 04:31, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Recording to the template the image was in public domain as the movie was published before 1923. But the movie is from 1963. So something is not right. --|EPO| 14:59, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- No, according to the template, "This image is in the public domain in the United States. In most cases, this means that it was published in the United States prior to January 1, 1923 or that its first publication anywhere in the world was prior to January 1, 1909 or that its copyright expired in the United States. [emphasis added]" Shannernanner 14:03, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
