Description

La Cathédrale de Guarda, qui s'élève majestueusement au centre de la ville, a été érigé pendant le règne de D.João I, à l'initiative de l'évêque D. Vasco de Lamego. Le travail, commencé en 1390, a été achevée pendant le règne de D. João III, traînant pendant plus de 150 ans.

Guarda (au Nord Est) est la ville la plus haute du Portugal elle culmine à 1060m d'altitude.
