English: Unit of the Deltar analogue computer at the DIV of Rijkswaterstaat. The Deltar was an analogue calculator, which was used from 1960 to 1984 for the execution of the Delta Works. This analogue computer was specially designed and built for the complex calculations, which were necessary to predict the tinge movement and the consequences thereof, in the Delta area. |
