Summary
[edit]DescriptionBandiera dell’Emilia.png |
English: Historically, Emilia Region has never had a flag that would unify it due to its past that has always been divided into several independent states, consequently the flag does not exist historical symbols that unite the whole region. It takes up the symbols of Parma and Bologna, they are the main cities of the region with very different histories and are very important culturally for the whole region as if they were two capitals even if the capital would always be Bologna for the larger dimensions. In fact, the Emilians say that “Emilia goes from Bulåggna to Pärma”. In reality, Emilia is much more extensive, and goes beyond the current borders. The flag was used by the Emilian autonomists and the Lega Nord Emilia.
