Deutsch: Ehemalige Funkerkaserne und Mast 17 auf dem Funkerberg in der Stadt Königs Wusterhausen in Brandenburg. Im Vordergrund steht das restaurierte und umgebaute Mannschaftsgebäude aus den Jahren 1913-1915. Das nächste eingeschossige Gebäude ist die umgebaute Reithalle. Im Hintergrund sieht man Mast 17, den einzigen verbliebenen 210 Meter hohen Stahlfachwerksmast des Senders Königs Wusterhausen. Der Mast wurde 1923 gebaut und ist seit 1995 außer Betrieb. Eine historische Ansichtskarte zeigt das Mannschaftsgebäude in seiner ursprünglichen Form. Die Funkerkaserne und der Mast 17 stehen unter Denkmalschutz[1],[2]. Mast 17 gilt als Wahrzeichen der Stadt.
English: The former radio barracks and the mast 17 on the Funkerberg in Königs Wusterhausen, Germany. The Funkerberg (formerly Windmühlenberg) is a hill where large radio antennas of the Königs Wusterhausen radio station was deployed. In the foreground, on the left is the restored and converted crew building of the radio barracks from the years 1913-1915. The next single-storey building is the converted riding arena. In the background you can see the only remaining 210 meter high steel framework mast (mast 17). The mast was built in 1923 and has been out of service since 1995. A historical postcard shows the crew building in its original form. The radio barracks and mast 17 are under monument protection[3],[4]. Mast 17 is the town's landmark.
