Description
English: 070713-N-0780F-004 SOUDA BAY, Crete, Greece (July 13, 2007) - Oil spill response students at U.S. Naval Support Activity Souda Bay work to remove a Harbour Buster high speed oil containment system from the water following an exercise on their final day of instruction. The Navy Safety Center’s Navy Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Training Center offers the five-day facility response team course. During this course students gain an understanding of oil spills, regulations concerning their own roles and learn how to contain and recover oil on water.
