Yugoslavia existed in two forms:
- First Yugoslavia (1918–1941), created as the "Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes", renamed "Kingdom of Yugoslavia" in 1929. See Category:Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
- Second Yugoslavia (1945–1992), created as the "Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia", renamed "Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia" in 1963. See Category:Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
After the breakup of Yugoslavia in the 1990s, the former Yugoslav republics are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia (the union of Serbia and Montenegro existed as "FR Yugoslavia" from 1992 to 2003 and split apart in 2006).
