English: Sas (origin: Slavic for "Saxon", Polish: Sas, Hugarian: Szász, Romanian: Sas) is a Central European coat of arms. It was borne by several Transylvanian-Saxon Hungarian nobility since the medieval period and hereditary szlachta (nobility) families in the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, with prevalence in Red Ruthenia. The house was once a mighty ducal house with origins in Saxony, Transylvania and Hungary.
Polski: Sas (Drag) – Herb szlachecki.
