English: Magnetic circuits are analogous to electrical circuits. Whereas in an electrical circuit one has current being carried over highly electrically conductive wires (e.g. copper), in a magnetic circuit one has magnetic flux being carried over highly magnetically permeable cores (e.g. steel).
