English: Saint Cadoc (or Cadog or Cattwg) (Latin: Cadocus) (born about 497), Abbot of Llancarfan, was one of the 6th century British Christian saints. His vita twice mentions King Arthur. The Abbey of Llancarfan, near Cowbridge in Glamorganshire, which he founded circa 518, became famous as a centre of learning. The first part of his name means 'battle'.
Français : Saint Cado (ou Cadou) (Latin: Cadocus) (né vers 497), Abbé de l'abbaye de Llancarfan, au pays de Galles est un des saints bretons du VIe siècle. Sa vie mentionne deux fois le roi Arthur. L'abbaye de Llancarfan, près de Cowbridge dans le Glamorganshire, fondée vers 518, est devenue célèbre comme centre d'enseignement. La première partie de son nom signifie 'bataille'.
