"The Lake Hylia Crystal" is a Shrine Quest in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Overview
"The Lake Hylia Crystal" can be started in two separate ways. The first is by activating En-oma Shrine's Travel Point in the Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave. The second way is to examine the Mysterious Crystal on the Sky Island above the Whirlpool Cave in the Faron Sky Archipelago. In either scenario, Link will hear a Mysterious Voice tell him to bring the Mysterious Crystal to the Shrine of Light in order to receive a Light of Blessing.[2][3]
Dropping the Mysterious Crystal from the hole in the Sky Island will cause it to fall directly into the Lake Hylia Whirlpool Cave. From there, Link can bring it to the Shrine of Light. The Mysterious Voice states that it will now offer the Light of Blessing.[4] The Mysterious Crystal then begins to float and grow, and after its green sheen disappears, it is revealed to be the entrance to En-oma Shrine. Following this, Link is able to enter the Shrine of Light.
