Silver Shields are Zora-made Shields known for their intricate ornamentation.[2] It is believed that true masters of these Shields can redirect attacks like a rock redirecting rushing water.[2] Silver Shields belong to the Zora Gear equipment archetype, which includes all Weapons created by the Zora.[3]

There are five scattered across Hyrule Kingdom, a majority of which are in the Lanayru Great Spring and in and around Lake Hylia. An additional two are stowed away in Treasure Chests in Master Mode. They are found at the following locations:

Silver Shields are made of metal, and will therefore conduct Electricity and attract Lightning if they are equipped during Thunderstorms. They also will not burn when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate like wooden Shields. Though they sink in water, they can be picked up and manipulated with the Magnesis Basic Rune.
