Goat Butters are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Goat Butters are made from the Fresh Milk produced by White Goats.[1] They can be purchased at High Spirits Produce and The Slippery Falcon, though the Merchant Agus also sells them. While they cannot be eaten, they can be used as an Ingredient in a Cooking Pot to make certain dishes. Goat Butters can also be used to make Yellow Dye at the Kochi Dye Shop.

As part of the "What's for Dinner?" Side Quest, Kiana asks Link to bring her a Goat Butter and a Hearty Blueshell Snail to make Seafood Paella.[4] When Link brings them to Kiana, she will give him a Purple Rupee and a serving of Seafood Paella as a reward.[5][6] Similarly, the "Cooking with Koko" Side Quest requires Link to retrieve Goat Butter for Koko, who wants to make a Hot Buttered Apple.[7] Once she has the Goat Butter, Koko will give him a Hot Buttered Apple as a reward.[8]
