We should all be excited about this year’s men’s basketball team. We have some great returning players as well as some very nice new additions via the transfer portal.
We should have a good mix of scoring and pace on offense, and toughness on defense. I’m excited to see our pieces come together and hopefully have another successful season.

I do. I also remember the disappointment of getting beat like a drum by Boston College in the ACC tournament. Do you think it’s by chance a team that made it to the elite 8 not to be ranked in the top 25 the following season?

BrowneLLL is a mediocre coach who had 1 pretty good year to save his job and will now coast for a few more until his buyout gets dangerously small and then will hookwink us again.

We aren't a basketball school. When basketball starts paying the bills then we can call ourselves a basketball school.
Having said that, I am very excited about the potential for this team to make another deep run.

We had a good nucleus to start, and brought in some great players to fill in the gaps. I think we definitely have more depth, and I do believe we have enough talent to make another deep run. These guys may need a little time to gell and learn to play with each other, but it is a really stout group that seems to be connecting very well.
