This is my annual let's thank Kathleen Swinney post. She is truly an amazing woman. She has dedicated her life to being an amazing mother, an amazing wife and a philanthropist. Her All In foundations does some amazing things for women and their families. Dabo would not be the man or the coach he is without her support and her willingness to be faithful in so many aspects of her life. None of us truly know the kind of work she puts in behind the scenes, but I am sure her role is important in the grand scheme of things and a lot of her work is unnoticed by the fans. You could not ask for a better representative of Clemson University or Clemson Football.

“I just love the players, you just can’t help but love a frightened, and excited, 18-year-old who comes to school to play football… There were times when Dabo would get on them, and I’d just be mortified at it. I’d tell them after practice, ‘I’m so sorry he yelled at you.’ And they would tell me, ‘It’s OK Mrs. Swinney. It’s our fault. That’s what coaches have to do.'” - Kathleen Swinney

Men at 25 play football. Men at 40 play tennis. Men at 60 play golf. Have you noticed as men get older their balls get smaller.

I saw her at Publix in Clemson one day. She was backing out of a space and accidentally hit the curb as she was backing out. I was walking out of the store at the time, and she got out of her Suburban/Escalade, not sure which, and with a smile she said, "Whoops!"
