Marian Woodruff Stanley, daughter of Albert Henry Stanley, 1st and last Baron Ashfield and Grace Lowrey Woodruff, on 8 June 1940.1 He and Hon. Marian Woodruff Stanley were divorced in 1954.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Gertrude Cozens, daughter of Stephen Cozens, on 14 September 1954 at Chichester, Sussex, England.1,2 He died in 1983.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1

     Captain Michael Norton-Griffiths was born on 30 September 1908.2 He was the son of Sir John Norton-Griffiths, 1st Bt. and Gwladys Wood.2 He married Elizabeth Gertrude Cozens, daughter of Stephen Cozens, on 6 March 1936 at Solihull, Warwickshire, England.1,3 He died on 29 May 1940 at age 31 at Dunkirk, FranceG, killed in action.3
     He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.1
