     Simon Foster Macdonald Lockhart, 25th of the Lee was born on 11 July 1916.2 He was the son of John Ronald Moreton Macdonald, 18th of Largie and 24th of the Lee and Daisy Maud Crabbe.2 He married Ella Catriona Gordon, daughter of Seton Gordon, on 28 February 1942.2 He died in 1991.2
     He was given the name of Simon Foster Moreton Macdonald at birth.2 He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Lovat Scots.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.2 In 1946 his name was legally changed to Simon Foster Macdonald Lockhart of the Lee by Declaration.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lanarkshire in 1950.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lanarkshire in 1950.2 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms as Lockhart quartering Macdonald, non-chiefly arms for himself and as tutor (guardian) for his minor son, the chiefly plain undifferenced arms of Lockhart of the Lee, thereby nominating his son as Chief of Lockhart, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court Lockhart quartering Macdonald, non-chiefly arms for himself and as tutor (guardian) for his minor son, the chiefly plain undifferenced arms of Lockhart of the Lee, thereby nominating his son as Chief of Lockhart on 28 February 1957.1

Ella Catriona Gordon1

     Ella Catriona Gordon was the daughter of Seton Gordon.1 She married Simon Foster Macdonald Lockhart, 25th of the Lee, son of John Ronald Moreton Macdonald, 18th of Largie and 24th of the Lee and Daisy Maud Crabbe, on 28 February 1942.1 She died in 2000.1
     Ella Catriona Gordon usually went by her middle name of Catriona.1 From 28 February 1942, her married name became Moreton Macdonald. From 1946, her married name became Macdonald Lockhart.1

     Angus Hew Macdonald Lockhart of the Lee was born on 17 August 1946.2 He was the son of Simon Foster Macdonald Lockhart, 25th of the Lee and Ella Catriona Gordon.1 He married Susan Elizabeth Normand, daughter of Hon. William Normand and Anne Elizabeth Cumming, on 26 September 1970.2 He died on 20 November 2015 at age 69.3
     He was educated at Rannoch School, Perthshire, ScotlandG.2 He held the position of Chief of the Name and Arms of Lockhart from.2 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 8 February 1957.2 He was educated at North of Scotland College of Agriculture, ScotlandG.2 He was Member of the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs.2 He lived in 2003 at Newholm, Dunsyre, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.2
