     Major Robert Charles Henry Darling, 2nd Baron Darling was born on 15 May 1919.1 He was the son of Major Hon. John Clive Darling and Eleanor Joan Martin Powell.2 He married Bridget Rosemary Whishaw Dickson, daughter of Reverend Francis Cyprian Dickson, on 15 August 1942.1 He died on 16 October 2003 at age 84.3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Darling, of Langham, co.      Bridget Rosemary Whishaw Dickson was the daughter of Reverend Francis Cyprian Dickson.1 She married Major Robert Charles Henry Darling, 2nd Baron Darling, son of Major Hon. John Clive Darling and Eleanor Joan Martin Powell, on 15 August 1942.2 She died on 29 March 1997.2
     Bridget Rosemary Whishaw Dickson usually went by her middle name of Rosemary.2 From 15 August 1942, her married name became Darling. After her marriage, Bridget Rosemary Whishaw Dickson was styled as Baroness Darling on 15 August 1942.

     James Leslie Hamilton, 4th Baron Hamilton of Dalzell was born on 11 February 1938.1 He was the son of John d'Henin Hamilton, 3rd Baron Hamilton of Dalzell and Rosemary Olive Coke.2 He married Ann Anastasia Corinna Helena Dixon, daughter of Sir Pierson John Dixon and Alexandra Ismene Atchley, on 29 March 1967.1 He died on 28 September 2006 at age 68.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1956 and 1958 in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was member of the London Stock Exchange between 1967 and 1980.1 He was a director of Rowton Hotels between 1978 and 1984.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Hamilton of Dalzell, co.
