     Frances Philipps was the daughter of William Philipps.1 She married, firstly, Richard Alcock before 1835.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles James Napier, son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox, in 1835.1 She died on 22 June 1872.1
     From before 1835, her married name became Alcock.1 Her married name became Napier.

     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign in 1919.1
