     Adrian Stewart Wardlaw was born on 2 April 1971.¹ He is the son of Sir Henry John Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 21st Bt. and Julie-Ann Kirwan.²

     Janet Montgomerie Wardlaw was born on 7 September 1967.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Henry John Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 21st Bt. and Julie-Ann Kirwan.²

     Marie Ellen Wardlaw was born on 29 September 1977.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Henry John Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 21st Bt. and Julie-Ann Kirwan.²

     Cuthbert Wardlaw of Balmule married Catherine Dalgleish before 1561.¹ He died on 4 December 1618.¹

     From before 1561, her married name became Wardlaw.

     Sir Henry Wardlaw of Balmule and Pitreavie, 1st Bt. was born in 1565.² He was the son of Cuthbert Wardlaw of Balmule and Catherine Dalgleish.³ He married Elizabeth Wilson.¹ He died on 5 April 1637.¹
     He purchased Balmule in 1596.¹ He was Chamberlain to Ann, consort of King James I and VI in 1603.¹ He purchased Pitreavie in 1606.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Wardlaw, of Pitreavie, Fife [Nova Scotia] on 5 March 1630/31.¹

     Elizabeth Wilson married Sir Henry Wardlaw of Balmule and Pitreavie, 1st Bt., son of Cuthbert Wardlaw of Balmule and Catherine Dalgleish.¹
     She lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ Her married name became Wardlaw.

     Sir Henry Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Wardlaw of Balmule and Pitreavie, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Wilson.² He married Margaret Bethune, daughter of David Bethune, 11th of Balfour and Margaret Wardlaw, in 1617.¹ He died on 2 March 1653.¹
     In 1617 he had a charter of Pitreavie.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wardlaw, of Pitreavie, Fife [N.S., 1631] on 5 April 1637.¹
