Hon. George Bankes and Georgina Charlotte Nugent, on 16 July 1857.2 He married, secondly, Hon. Evelyn Anne Trefusis, daughter of Charles Rodolph Trefusis, 19th Lord Clinton and Lady Elizabeth Georgiana Kerr, on 27 September 1881.1 He died on 7 May 1918 at age 92.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.2
