     Ernst Julius Prinz zur Lippe-Biesterfeld was born on 20 January 1892. He was the son of Rudolf Prinz zur Lippe-Biesterfeld and Luise Prinzessin von Ardeck.¹ He died on 28 August 1914 at age 22 at Villiers-les-Guise^G, killed in action.
     He fought in the First World War.
