Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt.1

     Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. was born on 31 October 1778.2 He was the son of Rev. Sir Abraham Elton, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Durbin.3 He married Sarah Smith, daughter of Joseph Smith, on 27 February 1804.2 He died on 1 June 1853 at age 74.2
     He wrote the book Specimens of the Classic Poets (ASIN: 1248356950.)2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Somerset Militia.2 He gained the rank of Officer in the 48th Regiment.2 He wrote the book The Brothers, a Monody (ASIN: 1174879696.)2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Elton, of Bristol [G.B., 1717] on 23 February 1842.2

     Agnes Hilda Gibbs was born in 1871 at Sussex Square, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of George Louis Monck Gibbs and Laura Beatrice Elton.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Charles Frederick Gordon Young, son of Colonel George Gordon Young, on 20 September 1892.1 She died in March 1934.1
     From 20 September 1892, her married name became Young.1

     Maj.-Gen. Charles Frederick Gordon Young was the son of Colonel George Gordon Young.2 He married Agnes Hilda Gibbs, daughter of George Louis Monck Gibbs and Laura Beatrice Elton, on 20 September 1892.2 He died on 17 March 1956.2
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the 6th Bengal Light Infantry.2

     Colonel George Gordon Young was born in 1838 at Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.2 He married Charlotte Sophia Smith, daughter of Julian Charles Smith, on 5 October 1858 at Murree, Bengal, IndiaG.2 He died in 1920 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2

     Beatrice Rhoda Gibbs was born in 1870 at Belgrave Road, St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of George Louis Monck Gibbs and Laura Beatrice Elton.1 She married, firstly, Cyril Grant Cunard, son of William Cunard and Laura Charlotte Haliburton, on 23 July 1896.1 She married, secondly, Captain Walter Hilton Curran, son of John Curran, on 4 April 1918.1 She died on 10 August 1945.1
     From 23 July 1896, her married name became Cunard.1 From 4 April 1918, her married name became Curran.1

     Cyril Grant Cunard was born in 1867.2 He was the son of William Cunard and Laura Charlotte Haliburton.1,3 He married Beatrice Rhoda Gibbs, daughter of George Louis Monck Gibbs and Laura Beatrice Elton, on 23 July 1896.1 He died on 17 April 1914.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the South-East of Scotland Artillery.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.1

     Walter fitz Alan, 1st High Steward of Scotland was the son of Alan fitz Flaald and Aveline de Hesding.1 He married Eschyna de Molle, daughter of Thomas de Londoniis.2 He died in 1177.2
     He was created 1st High Steward of Scotland in 1124.2 In 1157 King Malocolm IV ratified the grants of Stewart of Scotland to his family.2 Circa 1163 founder of Pailsey Priory.3 In 1164 he repelled an invasion of Renfrewshire by the Islesmen.2

     William Cunard was born on 9 April 1825.2 He was the son of Sir Samuel Cunard, 1st Bt. and Susan Duffus.2 He married Laura Charlotte Haliburton, daughter of Thomas Chandler Haliburton and Louisa Neville, in December 1851.2 He died on 11 January 1906 at age 80.2
