     Rivers Grenfell Currie was born on 8 June 1857.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Katherine Maria Thompson.2 He married Alice Theresa Disney Dunne, daughter of Arthur Disney Dunne, on 6 November 1889.1 He died on 3 May 1934 at age 76.1

     Alice Theresa Disney Dunne was the daughter of Arthur Disney Dunne.2 She married Rivers Grenfell Currie, son of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Katherine Maria Thompson, on 6 November 1889.1 She died in 1947.1
     From 6 November 1889, her married name became Currie.1

     Major Disney Rivers Currie was born on 8 April 1894.1 He was the son of Rivers Grenfell Currie and Alice Theresa Disney Dunne.2 He married Ethel Jeanette Bryce-Smith, daughter of Arnold Bryce-Smith, on 12 March 1919.1 He died on 23 October 1964 at age 70.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre of Belgium.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1

     Ethel Jeanette Bryce-Smith was the daughter of Arnold Bryce-Smith.2 She married Major Disney Rivers Currie, son of Rivers Grenfell Currie and Alice Theresa Disney Dunne, on 12 March 1919.1 She died in 1981.1
     She was also known as Joan.1 From 12 March 1919, her married name became Currie.1

     Frederick Disney Rivers Currie was born on 24 June 1921.1 He was the son of Major Disney Rivers Currie and Ethel Jeanette Bryce-Smith.2 He married Jean Alison Jardine, daughter of Lionel Westrop Jardine and Marjorie Mildred Woods, on 9 August 1949.1 He died on 8 August 2001 at age 80.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Scots.1 He fought in the Second World War in 1943, in Burma, and was wounded.1

     Lionel Westrop Jardine was born on 15 February 1895.2 He was the son of Sir John Jardine, 1st Bt. and Minnie Dunbar Hogg.2 He married Marjorie Mildred Woods, daughter of Major Richard John Woods, on 6 November 1922.2 He died in 1980.2
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st/5th Battalion, Queen's Royal Regiment.2 He fought in the First World War, in Mesopotamia, where he was mentioned in desptaches and was severely wounded.2 He was educated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was a Political Officer between 1919 and 1921 at Iraq.2 He was with the Indian Civil Service.2 He was a Revenue Commissioner, North-West Frontier Province, India between 1938 and 1943.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1939.2 He was Resident of Baroda and Gujerat States between 1943 and 1944.2 He was a Revenue Commissioner, North-West Frontier Province, India between 1946 and 1947.2 He lived at Englewood, Chobham, Surrey, EnglandG.1
