     Edward Weston Hickes was born in 1873 at Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England.2 He was the son of Thomas James Hickes and Catherine Gale.2 He died on 9 January 1943 at Forge Cottage, Crockham Hill, Kent, England.2
     He lived in 1894 at South Africa.2 He was a civil engineer.2 He was a railway engineer with Pauling and Company at Zimbabwe.2 He was a railway engineer between 1911 and 1915 at Kenya.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the East African Regiment.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.2 He gained the rank of Major in 1917 in the Royal Engineers.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Empire Society (F.R.E.S.)2 He lived at Brasted Hall, Kent, EnglandG.1

     Margery Hickes was born on 26 January 1907 at South Africa.2 She was the daughter of Edward Weston Hickes.3 She married, secondly, Christopher Langlands.1 She married, firstly, Francis R. Ronald Dresser on 5 November 1928 at Nairobi Cathedral, Nairobi, Kenya.1,2 She married, thirdly, Sir Philip Henry Rathbone Whitehead, 4th Bt., son of Sir Rowland Edward Whitehead, 3rd Bt. and Ethel Mary Leonie Rathbone, on 3 October 1946.1 She married, fourthly, Captain Sydney Alick Harrison-Smith, son of Rear-Admiral Sir Francis Harrison-Smith, on 30 July 1959.1 She died in 1990 at Berkshire, England.2
     Her married name became Langlands.1 From 5 November 1928, her married name became Dresser. From 3 October 1946, her married name became Whitehead. From 30 July 1959, her married name became Harrison-Smith.1

     Lucy Parker was the daughter of William Parker.2 She married, firstly, Colonel Edward Aldrich, son of Charles Aldrich and Ann Nicholson, on 14 June 1851 at St. James the Less, Thorndike Street, Westminster, London, England.3,2 She married, secondly, Matthew FitzMaurice Deane, 3rd Baron Muskerry, son of Robert Tilson Deane, 1st Baron Muskerry and Anne FitzMaurice, on 13 April 1864.1 She died on 16 January 1867.1
     From 14 June 1851, her married name became Aldrich.3 After her marriage, Lucy Parker was styled as Baroness Muskerry on 13 April 1864. From 13 April 1864, her married name became Deane.1

     Sir John Woolmer White, 4th Bt. was born on 4 February 1947.1 He is the son of Sir Headley Dymoke White, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Victoria Mary Wrightson.2 He married Joan Borland, daughter of T. D. Borland, in 1987.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet White, of Salle Park, Norfolk [U.K., 1922] on 25 February 1971.2 He lived in 2003 at Salle Park, Norwich, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
