     Lady Frances Susan Elizabeth Wandesford was the daughter of John Wandesford, 1st and last Earl Wandesford and Agnes Elizabeth Southwell.1 She married John Butler, 17th Earl of Ormonde, son of Walter Butler, 16th Earl of Ormonde and Ellen Morres, on 14 February 1769.1 She died on 3 April 1830.2
     She was also known as Anne.1 Her married name became Butler. After her marriage, Lady Frances Susan Elizabeth Wandesford was styled as Countess of Ormonde on 2 June 1783.

John Wandesford, 1st and last Earl Wandesford1

     John Wandesford, 1st and last Earl Wandesford was baptised on 24 May 1725 at Ripon, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of George Wandesford, 4th Viscount Castlecomer and Susanna Griffith.2 He married Agnes Elizabeth Southwell, daughter of John Southwell and Sarah Rose, on 11 August 1750.1 He died on 12 January 1784 at age 58 at Castlecomer, County Kilkenny, IrelandG, without surviving male issue.1 He was buried at Castlecomer, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.1 His will (dated 28 November 1772) was proven (by probate) on 8 May 1784.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Wandesford, of Kirklington, co. York [E., 1662] on 25 June 1751.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Castlecomer, co. Kilkenny [I., 1707] on 25 June 1751.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Wandesford [I., 1707] on 25 June 1751.1 He was created 1st Earl Wandesford, co. Kilkenny [Ireland] on 15 August 1758.1

     Agnes Elizabeth Southwell was born in 1730.2 She was the daughter of John Southwell and Sarah Rose.1 She married John Wandesford, 1st and last Earl Wandesford, son of George Wandesford, 4th Viscount Castlecomer and Susanna Griffith, on 11 August 1750.1 She died on 21 April 1781 at Castlecomer, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in 1784.1
     Her married name became Wandesford. After her marriage, Agnes Elizabeth Southwell was styled as Viscountess Castlecomer on 25 June 1751. After her marriage, Agnes Elizabeth Southwell was styled as Countess Wandesford on 15 August 1758.

Walter Butler, 1st and last Marquess of Ormonde1

     Walter Butler, 1st and last Marquess of Ormonde was born on 5 February 1770.1 He was the son of John Butler, 17th Earl of Ormonde and Lady Frances Susan Elizabeth Wandesford.2 He married Anna Maria Catherine Price-Clarke, daughter of Job Hart Price-Clarke, on 17 March 1805.2 He died on 10 August 1820 at age 50, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Thurles [I., 1536] on 30 December 1795.2 He succeeded as the 18th Earl of Ormonde [I., 1328] on 30 December 1795.2 He succeeded as the 12th Earl of Ossory [I., 1528] on 30 December 1795.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1797.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) in 1798.2 He was created 1st Baron Butler of Lanthony, co. Monmouth [U.K.] on 20 January 1801.1 In 1810 he sold back to the crown his right of prisage over the wines of Ireland for £216,000. This right had been granted to his ancestor, the 4th hereditary Butelr, by King Edward I.2 He was created 1st Marquess of Ormonde [U.K.] in January 1816.1 On his death, his U.K. Barony and Marquessate became extinct.1

     James Wandesford Butler, 1st Marquess of Ormonde was born on 15 July 1777.1 He was the son of John Butler, 17th Earl of Ormonde and Lady Frances Susan Elizabeth Wandesford.1,2 He married Grace Louisa Staples, daughter of Rt. Hon. John Staples and Hon. Henrietta Molesworth, on 12 October 1807.2 He died on 18 May 1838 at age 60.1

     Anna Maria Catherine Price-Clarke was the daughter of Job Hart Price-Clarke.1 She married Walter Butler, 1st and last Marquess of Ormonde, son of John Butler, 17th Earl of Ormonde and Lady Frances Susan Elizabeth Wandesford, on 17 March 1805.1 She died on 19 December 1817.1
     After her marriage, Anna Maria Catherine Price-Clarke was styled as Countess of Ormonde on 17 March 1805. From 17 March 1805, her married name became Butler. After her marriage, Anna Maria Catherine Price-Clarke was styled as Marchioness of Ormonde in January 1816.

     Grace Louisa Staples was the daughter of Rt. Hon. John Staples and Hon. Henrietta Molesworth.2 She married James Wandesford Butler, 1st Marquess of Ormonde, son of John Butler, 17th Earl of Ormonde and Lady Frances Susan Elizabeth Wandesford, on 12 October 1807.1 She died on 3 May 1860.1
     Her married name became Butler. After her marriage, Grace Louisa Staples was styled as Countess of Ormonde on 10 August 1820. After her marriage, Grace Louisa Staples was styled as Marchioness of Ormonde on 29 October 1825.

     Rt. Hon. John Staples was born on 1 March 1736.2 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Staples and Grace Houston.2 He married, firstly, Harriet Conolly, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Conolly and Lady Anne Wentworth, on 14 June 1764.3 He married, secondly, Hon. Henrietta Molesworth, daughter of Field Marshal Richard Molesworth, 3rd Viscount Molesworth of Swords and Mary Jenney Ussher, on 14 October 1774.2 He died on 22 December 1820 at age 84.2
