     George Massy Finch was born on 19 August 1839.1 He was the son of John Brown Finch and Maria Singleton.2 He married Margaret Franks Bevan, daughter of Joseph Bevan.2 He died on 27 August 1895 at age 56.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tipperary.2 He lived at Bloomfield, Newport, County Limerick, IrelandG.2

     He gained the rank of officer in the 6th Carabiniers.1 He lived at Maryville, County Limerick, IrelandG.1
