Sir Thomas Frankland, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Frankland, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1663.2 He was the son of Sir William Frankland, 1st Bt. and Arabella Belasyse.3 He and Elizabeth Frances Russell obtained a marriage license on 14 February 1682/83.4 He died on 30 October 1726.
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Thirsk between 1685 and 1695.4 He held the office of Postmaster-General between 1690 and 1713.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hedon between 1695 and 1698.4 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Frankland, of Thirkleby [E., 1660] on 2 August 1697.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Thirsk between 1698 and 1711.4

     Sir John Russell, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Francis Russell, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Wheatley.2 He married Frances Cromwell, daughter of Oliver Cromwell and Elizabeth Bouchier, on 7 May 1663 at Chippenham, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2 He died on 24 March 1672.2
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Russell.
