     Robert Charles Sydney ffrench Blake was born on 18 July 1880.1 He was the son of Reverend Robert ffrench Blake and Mary Elizabeth Hewitt.1 He died on 19 May 1902 at age 21, accidentally shot.1
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of The Buffs.1

     Major St. John Lucius O'Brien Acheson ffrench Blake was born on 26 May 1889.1 He was the son of Reverend Robert ffrench Blake and Mary Elizabeth Hewitt.1 He married Doris Kathleen Tweedie, daughter of Arthur John Tweedie, on 1 June 1912.1 He died on 19 April 1917 at age 27 at Gaza, IsraelG, killed in action.1
     He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1,2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)2 He gained the rank of Major in the 21st Lancers.1 He fought in the Second Battle of Gaza in April 1917.1

     Doris Kathleen Tweedie was the daughter of Arthur John Tweedie.1 She married, firstly, Major St. John Lucius O'Brien Acheson ffrench Blake, son of Reverend Robert ffrench Blake and Mary Elizabeth Hewitt, on 1 June 1912.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Launcelot Machell Wilson, son of Reverend Canon Wilson, on 7 April 1920.1
     From 1 June 1912, her married name became ffrench Blake.1 From 7 April 1920, her married name became Wilson.1 As of 1976, Doris Kathleen Tweedie lived at Lower Lease, Saunton, Braunton, Devon, EnglandG.1

Robert Lifford Valentine ffrench Blake was born on 3 March 1913.1 He was the son of Major St. John Lucius O'Brien Acheson ffrench Blake and Doris Kathleen Tweedie.1 He married Grania Bryde Curran, daughter of Captain Walter Hilton Curran, on 11 July 1939.1 He died on 11 March 2011 at age 98 at Stockbridge, Hampshire, England.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was appointed Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1945.1 He retired from the military in 1949, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the 17th/21st Lancers.1 As of 1976, Lt.-Col.      Grania Bryde Curran is the daughter of Captain Walter Hilton Curran.1 She married Lt.-Col. Robert Lifford Valentine ffrench Blake, son of Major St. John Lucius O'Brien Acheson ffrench Blake and Doris Kathleen Tweedie, on 11 July 1939.1
     From 11 July 1939, her married name became ffrench Blake.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cornwall in 1952.1
