     Richard Beamish was the son of Thomas Beamish and Jane Beamish.1 He married Elizabeth Bernard, daughter of Arthur Bernard and Mary Adderley, in 1766.1 He died circa 1788.2 His will was proven (by probate) in 1788.1

     Elizabeth Bernard was the daughter of Arthur Bernard and Mary Adderley.1 She married Richard Beamish, son of Thomas Beamish and Jane Beamish, in 1766.1 She was buried on 10 January 1839.1
     From 1766, her married name became Beamish.1

     Major Thomas Beamish was the son of Richard Beamish and Elizabeth Bernard.1 He died, unmarried.1 He was buried on 16 November 1823.1
     He fought in the Seige of Fort Irois in 1796 at San DomingoG, in defence of the fort against a French force. He was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 33rd Foot.1

     Captain Arthur Beamish-Bernard was the son of Richard Beamish and Elizabeth Bernard.1 He was buried on 19 January 1855, aged 82, unmarried.1
     He was a Freeman of Cork City in 1820.1 He was the Commandant of the Earl of Carbery Yeomen.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Earl of Carbery Yeomen.1 He was given the name of Arthur Beamish at birth.1 His name was legally changed to Arthur Beamish-Bernard when he assumed the additional name of Bernard, after he inherited Palace Anne from his uncle.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Palace Anne, Kinneigh, County Cork, IrelandG, which he inherited from his maternal uncle, Arthur Bernard.1 He lived at Raheroon, County Cork, IrelandG.1
