     Gilbert Henry Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby, 1st Earl of Ancaster was born on 1 October 1830 at Portman Square, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Gilbert John Heathcote, 1st Baron Aveland and Clementina Elizabeth Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby, Baroness Willoughy de Eresby.1 He married Lady Evelyn Elizabeth Gordon, daughter of Charles Gordon, 10th Marquess of Huntly and Maria Antoinetta Pegus, on 14 July 1863 at St. Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 24 December 1910 at age 80.2 He was buried on 30 December 1910.2
     He was given the name of Gilbert Henry Heathcote at birth.1 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boston between 1852 and 1856.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rutland between 1856 and 1867.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Heathcote, of the City of London [G.B., 1733] on 6 September 1867.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Aveland, of Aveland, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1856] on 6 September 1867.3 He held the office of Deputy Lord Great Chamberlain between 24 January 1871 and 22 January 1901.1 On 4 May 1872 his name was legally changed to Gilbert Henry Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby by Royal Licence.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1880.1 He succeeded as the 25th Lord Willoughby de Eresby [E., 1313] on 13 November 1888.3 He was created 1st Earl of Ancaster [U.K.] on 22 August 1892.1

     Lady Evelyn Elizabeth Gordon was born on 22 March 1846.1 She was the daughter of Charles Gordon, 10th Marquess of Huntly and Maria Antoinetta Pegus.1,2 She married Gilbert Henry Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby, 1st Earl of Ancaster, son of Gilbert John Heathcote, 1st Baron Aveland and Clementina Elizabeth Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby, Baroness Willoughy de Eresby, on 14 July 1863 at St. Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 16 March 1921 at age 74 at Normanton Park, Stamford, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.3 She was buried on 21 March 1921.3
     Her married name became Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby. After her marriage, Lady Evelyn Elizabeth Gordon was styled as Baroness Willoughby de Eresby in 1867. After her marriage, Lady Evelyn Elizabeth Gordon was styled as Countess of Ancaster on 22 August 1892.

She was the daughter of General William John Kerr, 5th Marquess of Lothian and Elizabeth Fortescue.1 She married John Evelyn Pierrepont Dormer, 10th Baron Dormer of Wyng, son of Charles Dormer, 8th Baron Dormer of Wyng and Elizabeth Hamilton, on 20 November 1795.1 She died on 13 August 1822 at age 56 at BudbrokeG, without issue.1
     Her married name became Dormer. After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Kerr was styled as Baroness Dormer of Wyng on 2 April 1819.

     Hon. Emilie Beaujolais White was the daughter of Henry White, 1st Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline and Ellen Dempster.1 She married Robert Wellesley Grosvenor, 2nd Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor, son of Robert Grosvenor, 1st Baron Ebury of Ebury Manor and Hon. Charlotte Arbuthnot Wellesley, on 20 July 1867.2 She died on 18 December 1923.2
     Her married name became Grosvenor. After her marriage, Hon. Emilie Beaujolais White was styled as Baroness Ebury of Ebury Manor on 18 November 1893.

     Henry White, 1st Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline was born between 1789 and 1791.1 He was the son of Luke White and Elizabeth de la Mazière.1 He married Ellen Dempster, daughter of William Soper Dempster and Harriet Dempster, on 3 October 1828.1 He died on 3 September 1873 at Sunbury Park, London, EnglandG.1
     He gained the rank of soldier in 1811 in the 14th Light Dragoons.1,2 He fought in the Siege of Badajoz in 1812.2 He fought in the Battle of Salamanca on 22 July 1812.2 He fought in the Peninsular Wars, where he won a medal with clasps.1,2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Dublin between 1823 and 1832.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Leitrim between 1837 and 1847.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Longford between 1841 and 1873.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Dublin between 1857 and 1861.1 He was created 1st Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline, co.      Ellen Dempster was the daughter of William Soper Dempster and Harriet Dempster.1 She married Henry White, 1st Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline, son of Luke White and Elizabeth de la Mazière, on 3 October 1828.1 She died on 12 May 1868.1
     Her married name became White. After her marriage, Ellen Dempster was styled as Baroness Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline on 19 August 1863.
