     Hilda Margaret Workman-Macnaghten was born on 23 December 1868.2 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Francis Edmund Workman-Macnaghten of Dundarave, 3rd Bt. and Alice Mary Russell.1,3 She married, firstly, Henry Cecil Phillips on 14 November 1892.2 She married, secondly, Richard Arthur Grove Annesley, son of Richard Grove Annesley and Sara Augusta Ruth Bolster, on 7 March 1907.1 She died on 4 March 1961 at age 92.2
     From 14 November 1892, her married name became Phillips.4 From 7 March 1907, her married name became Grove Annesley.1

Anderson, in 1931.1 He and Elizabeth Anderson were divorced in 1939.1 He married, secondly, Elsie Susannah Krige, daughter of Jacob Daniel Krige, on 1 July 1939.1 He died in 1979.1
     Richard Francis Michael Grove Annesley usually went by his middle name of Michael.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1941 in the King's African Rifles.1 He was the manager of the mining section, Booth & Co. in 1951 at AfricaG.1

Rt. Hon. Sir Francis Edmund Workman-Macnaghten of Dundarave, 3rd Bt.1

     Rt. Hon. Sir Francis Edmund Workman-Macnaghten of Dundarave, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 July 1828.2 He is the son of Sir Edmund Charles Workman-Macnaghten, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Gwatkin.3 He married Alice Mary Russell, daughter of William Howard Russell, on 6 June 1866.2 He and Alice Mary Russell were divorced in 1883.2 He died on 21 July 1911 at age 83, without surviving male issue.2
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Macnaghten, of Dundarave, co. Antrim [U.K., 1836] on 6 January 1876.1 He held the office of HM Lieutenant of County Antrim.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 8th Hussars.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1878.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles.2

     James Hay, 1st Earl of Carlisle was born circa 1580 at ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Sir James Hay and Margaret Murray.1,3 He married Lady Honora Denny, daughter of Edward Denny, 1st and last Earl of Norwich and Lady Mary Cecil, on 6 January 1608.4 He married, secondly, Lady Lucy Percy, daughter of Henry Percy, 3rd Earl of Northumberland and Lady Dorothy Devereux, on 6 November 1617, in the King's presence, but without her father's consent.1 He died on 25 April 1636 at Whitehall, London, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 6 May 1636 at St. Paul's Cathedral, The City, London, EnglandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 20 May 1637.5

He left behind him the reputation of a very fine gentleman, and a most accomplished courtier; and after having spent, in a very jovial life, above £400,000... he left not a house nor acre of land to be remembered by... he died with as much tranquility of mind as used to attend a man of more severe exercise of virtue."5
