     Ferdinando III Erzherzog von Österreich Granduca di Toscana was born on 6 May 1769.3 He was the son of Leopold II von Österreich, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Luisa de Borbón, Infanta de España.1 He married, firstly, Luisa Maria di Borbone, Principessa delle Due Sicilie, daughter of Ferdinando I di Borbone, Re delle Due Sicilie and Marie Caroline Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 19 September 1790.4,3 He married, secondly, Marie Ferdinanda Amalie Prinzessin von Sachsen, daughter of Maximilian Prinz von Sachsen and Carolina Maria di Borbone, Principessa di Parma, on 6 May 1821. He died on 18 June 1824 at age 55.3
     He gained the title of Granduca di Toscana (styled as Grand Duke of Tuscany) in 1790.5 He gained the title of Großherzog Ferdinand III von Würzburg (styled as Grand Duke of Würzburg.)

     Marie Karoline Ferdinanda Erzherzogin von Österreich was born on 8 April 1801 at Vienna, AustriaG.2 She was the daughter of Franz II Joseph Karl von Österreich, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Teresa Carolina Josephine di Borbone, Principessa delle Due Sicilie.3,1 She married Friedrich August II König von Sachsen, son of Maximilian Prinz von Sachsen and Carolina Maria di Borbone, Principessa di Parma, on 7 October 1819 at Dresden, Sachsen, GermanyG.2 She died on 22 May 1832 at age 31 at Dresden, Sachsen, GermanyG, without issue.2
     She was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. She gained the title of Erzherzogin von Österreich (styled as Archduchess of Austria.1) She was given the name of Marie Caroline Ferdinande Theresia Josephine Demetria at birth.2

He was the son of Ferdinando III Erzherzog von Österreich Granduca di Toscana and Luisa Maria di Borbone, Principessa delle Due Sicilie.3,4 He married, firstly, Marie Anne Karoline Prinzessin von Sachsen, daughter of Maximilian Prinz von Sachsen and Carolina Maria di Borbone, Principessa di Parma, on 16 November 1817. He married, secondly, Maria Antoina di Borbone, Principessa di Borbone delle Due Sicilie, daughter of Francesco I di Borbone, Re delle Due Sicilie and Maria Isabel de Borbón, Infanta de España, on 7 June 1833. He died on 29 January 1870 at age 72 at Rome, ItalyG.
     He gained the title of Granduca di Toscana (styled as Grand Duke of Tuscany) in 1824.5 He abdicated as Grand Duke of Tuscany in 1859.5
