"Bab el-Menzeh" (Q20726183)

[edit]

Hello Anass Sedrati. You put two different locations (not so similar) for this monument. Could you please rectify or explain ? Thanks. 93.28.88.48 16:25, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello 93.28.88.48 and thank you for your observation which is definitely right. I have in fact put both coordinate (probably one of them was by mistake) during an editing event where we wanted to enrich Wikidata items in Morocco. Unfortunately I am not familiar with Essaouira and do not know much about this gate, but Abdeaitali who was leading the session has maybe more information? I have tagged him in this discussion so that we can hopefully solve this. Regards. Anass Sedrati (talk) 17:11, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Moroccan Arabic description

[edit]

Hello Anass,

Hope you are going well! Can you please help check the legitimacy of edits by @Siaahmed? He has added the same description in Moroccan Arabic to multiple items and this does not seem right for me. Moumou82 (talk) 08:27, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Moumou82 and good to hear from you. I am doing very well and hope the same applies to you. Per your request, I have checked the latest edits of @Siaahmed in Wikidata, and found that all of them have the same nature. He is adding the world "باحت" meaning researcher to people who seem to be related to research (university professors mostly). This is probably done automatically in some sort of batch, but the description seems correct. Did you see a problem in the description itself or in another aspect? Best regards -- Anass Sedrati (talk) 10:31, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your confirmation! I was not sure about the translation so good to hear this looks fine. Moumou82 (talk) 10:53, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
