Paul Bismuth

[edit]

I don't think "Paul Bismuth" should be mentioned as a pseudonym. It's a false name used for (not so-)secret phone calls, not a pseudonym used as an artist or a writer. Seudo (talk) 18:57, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The term is derived from the Greek ψευδώνυμον (pseudṓnymon), literally "false name", ;-) I think it's fine creating a new page, but I don't think a pseudonym should be limited to artists. An example being political activists in many parts of the world that have used them for safety reasons. Moebeus (talk) 00:35, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Agree to say that this is a pseudonym, even if it is not an official pseudonym but a secret one. PAC2 (talk) 19:12, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Has Nicolas Sarkozy ever been Minister of Culture in France?

[edit]

This pages states that Nicolas Sarkozy (Q329)position held (P39)Minister of Culture (France) (Q12436652) between 1994 and 1995. This is not really exact.

According to the wikipedia article in English (w:Nicolas Sarkozy, see Infobox), he was minister of Communication but not minister of Culture. The minister of Culture during that period was in fact w:Jacques Toubon.

The confusion comes from the fact that Culture and Communication have often the same minister. Thus was not the case between 1993 and 1995 but it is generally the case.

I propose to remove the assertion Nicolas Sarkozy (Q329)position held (P39)Minister of Culture (France) (Q12436652). Maybe we should create a specific item for minister of Communication in France.

Does everyone agree ?
