No image of the Giedymin coat of arms has survived to the present day. However, the description of the image of one of his seals from 1323 is known. The seal featured an engraved man with long hair sitting on a throne, holding a crown in his right hand and a scepter in his left hand. The vectorized coat of arms was created based on the description of the image from the seal. The actual colors are unknown, they were added according to the author's own concept. In order to present the image of Gediminas coat of arms as faithfully as possible, the author used images from the seals of Gediminas' grandchildren; Witold Kiejstutowicz and Zygmunt Kiejstutowicz. Inventions are not based on descriptions of images of the original seals. It could be a counterfeit to create a coat of arms based on the guesses of a "Belarusian prospector" who just thinks that Giedymin had an image of a rider with a spear in his hand on the seal Guccee (talk) 15:21, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I found a description of the seal (in Lithuanian), but did not find a description of the coat of arms.

Valdymo klausimais Gediminas tardavosi su savo taryba, kurią sudarė apie 20 asmenų (p. 123). Taryba rinkdavosi valdovo pilies menėje. В Великом княжестве Литовском, существовавшем с середины XIII века по 1795 год; или в Литовской республике, ставшей независимой от Российской империи в 1918 году? Если Великое княжество Литовское как страну, которой он владел правил, то да. А вот институт гражданства был появился значительно позже. Ну раз для таких личностей как Charles the Great (Q3044) и Peter the Great (Q8479) указали... Если настаиваете — поставьте.
